  1. KGen '98 (v0.4b / MS-DOS)
Rewritten and rethought out, KGen '98 has come back to tower over Genecyst. With incredible compatibility, high color raster effects, and speed that is unsurpassed, KGen is definately here to stay. Development has been very busy and new versions are released quite often.
  2. Genecyst (vx.xx / MS-DOS)
Genecyst, like NESticle, has suffered from not being as faithfully updated as it needs to stay with the competition. Although KGen and Genecyst have usually been very close, the new KGen '98 greatly outperfoms Genecyst. Genecyst, however, has a much easier to use interface with more configurability and options.
