"To Archaic Ruins: After seeing what Famicom.exe can do, don't you think it is time to take it off of the obsolete emulators list?
"Famicom.exe is a Famicom/NES emulator for Windows 3.1 or higher. It currently sports a high compatibility rate, with very good sound." raves the Famicom.exe Shrine. While Famicom may have a few disadvantages, namely it's strange file format, the true strengths of this emulator are it's "near perfect sound" as the Shrine states it, and support for Family BASIC and the disk system. The Shrine continues to brag that voice effects in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhatten Project are perfect. The Famicom disk system emulation allows the the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2, as well as a Japanese version of Metroid with different sound effects to be played!
