Marat Fayzullin's MasterGear is a great Sega Master System / Game Gear emulator that unlike his Gameboy and Nintendo emulators is free! High compatibility, freely available source code, and multiple versions for each operating system have made MasterGear a very solid emulator and the first emulator to try for your Master System and Game Gear needs.

Although long discontinued, the remaining versions that were created before its discontinuation are still being released to keep user interest. MaSSaGE is faster than MasterGear and has compatibility with certain games that MasterGear isn't compatible with. A simple GUI with several options is also included.
